British Science Week is a celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
Throughout the week, classes engaged in hands-on science activities that really got them thinking and speaking scientifically.
Each class dedicated a whole day to fun investigations and shared their learning with other year groups in fantastic science shows.
There was oodles of sparkling slime, towers of books supported by surprisingly strong eggs, luminous lava lamps, nail-biting balloon skewers, brilliant bridge building and tonnes of learning.
Our school science mascot, Einstein the Elephant, will be dropping in on classes to support learning. He is a keen scientist and loves to participate in investigations at home and at school.
