Parents Teachers Association Updates |

The Park Primary Parents and Staff Association (PSA) is made up of parents, carers and staff of children attending Park Primary School who come together to support the children and the school.
The PSA raises money for equipment such as books for book corners, balls and skipping ropes for the playground and games and toys for wet playtimes in the classroom.
Projects we have funded include a performance and workshop by the poet John Hegley, An Opera Performance by two professional Sopranos and our spectacular annual Christmas Pantomime. At Christmas the PSA buys the gift of a book for every child in the school which are delivered to the children by Father Christmas!
We hold frequent cake bake sales and raffles and we collect unwanted textiles for the Bag2School recycling organisation to raise money for our projects. Every summer term we organise and fund ‘Funday’ – an extravaganza of stalls and games and bouncy castles. All the money we raise goes directly to the children and the school. Everyone’s time and effort is voluntary and being a part of PSA projects is both rewarding and fun and a great way to get to know other parents in the school. We have short meetings in school about four times per term and we have an emailing list so that updates of our activities and minutes of our meetings can be shared with anybody who is unable to attend meetings. Dates of all meetings and activities are published in advance in the school newsletter and everybody is welcome to attend – just come along! If you are interested in joining our mailing list, leave your details in the school office.
